Hi! We're Kelsey & Ashley, two best friends who are all about uncovering the next best thing in music! We specialize in shining a spotlight on up-and-coming artists, offering them the platform they need to connect with music lovers and grow their audience. We offer a variety of services to our community—some of which include weekly ticket giveaways to local shows through our partnership with Live Nation San Diego, hosting community events that bring together the vibrant San Diego music scene, and providing a comprehensive music marketing toolkit designed to help indie artists navigate PR, social media, and promotions. At GRRRL Music, we’re more than just tastemakers—we’re a supportive, creative community for artists and fans alike.
After 4 years of accepting submissions via email, we’re evolving to better handle the incredible volume of music you send us every day. To make things smoother and more efficient, we're now accepting all music submissions through our Google form!
NEW SUBMISSION GUIDLINES:
Submissions must be UNRELEASED or released within the current week. (Example: If the week is Oct 19th-25th, only songs released during this period are eligible.)
Songs from previous weeks won’t be eligible for playlisting.
If your song is selected, we’ll notify you via email by Friday of that release week, and it will land on our New Music Friday playlist.
Currently, out artist spotlights and Meet Your Next Favorite Artist series is up to the discretion of our team. We do charge a fee to create specific content that goes to the time and effort of our staff. If you are interested, please reach out to us via email to receive our rates.
