ASHLEY’S PICKS:
After sitting with all of the music released this year, narrowing it down to a top 20 was nerve wracking. While most publications often look for what ‘pushed the needle’, our lists are much more about our connection and love to the album itself. So far this year, my music taste is quite genreless with a few of my staples: powerhouse pop, sad grrrl folk, harmonies on harmonies and some pop punk. Out of the 400 albums I’ve listened to this year, these I cannot get enough of.
