In a spooky return to Los Angeles, GRRRL Music teamed up with Deanna DiLandro and Madison Hetterly of Final Girl Records to host 'Down The Rabbit Hole' at Permanent Records Roadhouse on October 25th. A showcase highlighting experimental raw artist, Two Lips, ethereal indie pop artist Polartropica, and ferocious alt pop artist, Chloe Star.

A night full of feminine power, the showcase brought the Halloween vibes, killer talent and another reminder that women are badass. Two Lips kicked it off with a mesmerizing art performance including two incredible dancers working in tandem to complete their full sound. Two Lips brought the audience to a roar. By the end of their set, we were dancing wildly with them, mirroring the energy to make the night even more exciting.

Polartropica performs in a striking angel bunny costume, complete with tall ears and red accents, adding a playful yet edgy vibe. She sings passionately into the microphone, fully immersed in the moment, with her costume adding a surreal, otherworldly touch to the performance.

Polartropica continued the evening with her stunning ethereal indie pop, starting us off with a feminine version of 'Creep' by Radiohead. She surprised us again with a badass singalong of 'Good Luck Babe!' by Chappell Roan with the audience. Her energy was infectious as she engaged with the crowd, ending with an electronic remix of her song, 'Ride or Die' by Techno Space Kitty!

Chloe Star took the stage in the final act of the night, and instantly the crowd was involved. Her powerful alt pop/punk sound floored us, within two seconds the audience was headbanging, dancing and singing along. Her music is deeply personal, she jokingly stated that her music is all about past relationships, but what captured the audience was her vulnerability and self confidence. She exuded 'bad-assery' with her stunning alto vocals, bringing warmth to the sound altogether.

Of course in true Final Girl Records and GRRRL Music fashion, at the end of the night we wrapped up by celebrating with a goth cake! It was truly an incredible evening of music, good vibes and great company. If you missed this one, don't worry, this isn't the last collaboration you'll see between Final Girl Records and GRRRL Music, we'll catch you at the next one!
